The tremendous efforts that have been thrown at us by science have truly amazed us.
Every single year or even a few months, we hear about science overcoming all types and sorts of diseases that improve our lives. This is particularly evident over the last decade where some i*llnesses have been treated completely through the invention of new m*edication.
This case is about Cameron Scott, an 8-year-old who has been through stage 4 brain c*ancer but has managed to beat it like a hero!
Cameron was being treated at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital after being diagnosed with a high-risk tumour known as M*edulloblastoma. The tumour had reached and spread to his spine.
He underwent several s*urgeries to remove the t*umours and was then sent to St Jude’s for a follow up treatment according to Wivb.com.
His father told TODAY “He’s my Hero” as he shows his pride of his son’s bravery in overcoming such a serious i*llness.
When Cameron arrived at St Jude’s, they found out that he had not only one d*isease but in fact four. The doctors were able to target the c*ancer using pioneered gene sequencing to ensure efficient treatment.
Despite Cameron being through six months of r*adiation and ch*emotherapy, he has managed to remain strong and resilient despite the s*truggles.
“I feel amazing now,” Cameron said. “I feel like I’ve been through everything.”
