A video was posted on social media on Wednesday which showed a man swimming in his living room after a storm flooded it.

South Africans were in stitches over a video of a man chilling in his living room, which was covered with water following a flood.

Although it is not know where or when the video was filmed, Briefly.co.za previously reported heavy rains caused havoc in KwaZulu-Natal and the Eastern Cape. One man used the floods as an opportunity to enjoy an indoor swimming pool and he filmed himself chilling in the water. Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux posted the video on the social media platform, captioning it: "South Africans remains undisputed."

South Africans were amused and impressed by the man's ability to be positive in a bad situation. Social media user‏ @Dona4lyf commented: "Motivation : sometimes one needs to make light of a bad situation. Somehow it is therapeutic." Ndidzu Thukutha, who goes by the Twitter handle‏ @ThukuthaP, wrote: "From now on this is how I’m approaching life, make the best out of every situation." Mshuduza, @Abra7Ak, added: "When mother nature gives you a storm...make a swimming pool." Chinenye Chikelu,‏ @ChikeluChinenye, said: "No weapon fashioned against South Africans shall prosper. This is the kind of heart I need in my life now. This dude will never know high blood pressure, I like that."
