Everyone probably knows by now that Chris Brown has slammed by the whole Internet (almost) after saying that he only likes – to put it lightly – girls with nice hair. Since then, there’s been an intense debate on social media regarding people’s preferences in men and women.
Lil Duval seems to be supportive of Chris and has some thoughts that he wanted to share with the world.
Unfortunately for him, people don’t seem to agree at all with what he had to say.
Someone said, ‘It’s not what say, it’s how you say it? Everyone has a preference. That goes unsaid. But there’s ways to word your preferences without offending a massive group of people. I guess this comes down to etiquette 🤷🏽♀️’
Another follower wrote: ‘Preference is one thing. Putting that preference on public display in negative connotation for the world and other races to see and absorb is another. It behooves me how stupid our own black people can be to issues that affect our community.’
One person posted: ‘How hard is it to understand that referring to BLACK WOMEN as BLACK B*TCHES is unacceptable. I’ve never heard him refer to a woman of any other race in such a derogatory way. 💡Y’all get it yet?’
Another follower said: ‘Why must someone explain it to him. Why he can’t get to google and search COLORISM. At this point Black men want to remain ignorant 🤷🏾♀️ I’m not finna explain r*acism to a white person, these colorists will get the same non-explanation. Ladies just quietly stop supporting these men 🙄’
Someone else concluded the topic by saying ‘We can decline without disrespect. Y’all decline and degrade.’
What do you guys think about this whole subject?
