There have been various reports going around implying that Diddy has been dating Lori Harvey, although that has not been confirmed, pictures did surface showing the lovebirds vacationing in Italy with her parents — Steve and Marjorie Harvey.
And while the reports drew a lot of attention and sparked interest in Diddy’s fans, it does not look like everyone has been entirely positive about the situation — because Lori dated Diddy’s son, Justin Combs.
Nick Cannon specifically referenced the rumored relationship recently, pointing to the huge age gap between the two. He claimed that he would “feel like he failed as a father” in that situation.
Cannon stated: “She’s what? Twenty-three? [Vlad interrupts to reply that she’s 22] And he’s 49. Twenty-two, and 49. Aw, man! I don’t have a problem with that, but I would heartbroken if that was my own daughter…To each his own. But I would feel like I failed as a father if I’m sitting across the table with a dude the same age as me that’s dating my daughter. I would feel like I failed.”
However, many were quick to point out Cannon’s hypocrisy, reminding him that he dated and married Mariah Carey, a woman 11 years older than him.
Of course, the age difference between Diddy and Lori is even greater than that, but this does not seem to change the context of things in the eyes of many commenters on the situation.
Indeed, Cannon has received a lot of b*acklash for his statement, with many telling him that he should just mind his own business.
Diddy has been getting a lot of attention from the public over his possible relationship lately, and it is not clear why the rapper has continued to stay quiet on the issue.
Some have speculated that he might have some issue with the age difference between him and his partner, although that is probably not the case. At this point, though, nobody knows for sure what is going on behind the scenes.
