Police are investigating after a needle was found in a grape bought at a supermarket in western Melbourne.
Officers say the report of the food contamination was made by a shopper in Caroline Springs.
Chloe Shaw said in a Facebook post she bought the fruit yesterday at an Aldi supermarket in the suburb.

Police said anyone contaminating food faced up to 10 years in prison.
It is the third case in Melbourne in as many months.
A woman spent the night in hospital after biting into a strawberry containing a pin in Melbourne last month. Another strawberry containing a pin was bought in the city in August.
Officers are reminding the public to take care when eating fruit.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
