Legendary rap producer Dr. Dre took to Instagram to gloat about his daughter's recent acceptance into the University of Southern California (USC).
In a Saturday post, Dre's daughter, Truly Young, can be seen holding a certificate of admissions from the prestigious university.
The photo capturing a proud moment for any parent was captioned with a quick jab at actresses Lori Loughlin, Felicity Huffman and other parents involved in the national college admissions scandal.
"My daughter got accepted into USC all on her own," he wrote. "No jail time!!!
A group of wealthy, white people used their considerable connections to get their children into schools they were unable to get into on their merits. Loughlin, whose claim to fame was her role on Full House, has a daughter who was a prominent Instagram influencer.
But while Dre claimed his daughter gained acceptance to the university on her own, critics did point out he and Jimmy Iovine founded the USC Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy. A hall on the school's campus even bears their name. Following the criticism, Dre deleted the post.
Loughlin's daughter, Olivia Jade, is no longer attending USC amid the fallout of the scandal. Page Six reports the 19-year-old blames her parents for ruining her life. She has also reportedly lost endorsement deals.
“Olivia blames her mom and dad for this scandal and for the downfall of her career,” a source told Us Weekly.
USC banned Olivia Jade and others connected to the scandal.
