Up to now, she remains the number one music selling artist with over 200 million record sales worldwide. Sadly, the female champion d*ied on February 11, 2012, in the Beverly Hills hotel room. Since then, the members of the public have never known what caused her d*eath. Many people were left with unanswered questions. A coroner’s revelation added more questions on top of those. The report said that the singer had mild emphysema and that she used to wear dentures. The latter is very common for people who are addicted to a*lcohol or any d*rug. Some of the unanswered questions that still linger in the minds of most of her fans include: Who supplied d*rugs to her? Why would she take them? Was she alone in her hotel room? Did she d*ie naturally? Here is everything about her d*eath together with other shocking revelations that have also left us scratching our heads. How Whitney Houston d*ied According to reports, Whitney appeared erratic and disheveled a few days before her d*eath. On Thursday, February 9, 2012, Houston visited Brandy, Clive Davis, and Monica who were singers too. Together they rehearsed for Davis Pre-Grammy Awards party. On that day, she also performed publicly for the last time when she joined Kelly Prince in Hollywood, California.
She sang “Jesus Loves Me.” Two days later, Whitney was found unconscious in her Beverly hotel Suite 434 submerged in a bathtub. The facility's paramedics arrived at the scene at 3.30pm. They found the singer in an unresponsive state. They performed CPR, but all was in vain. About 15 minutes later, Houston was pronounced lifeless. No one could tell what had caused her d*eath. The local police stated that there was no single sign of criminal intent. A month later, a report was released by Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. It indicated that the singer d*ied of c*ocaine use and effects of a*therosclerotic d*isease of the heart. The amounts of c*ocaine s*ubstances found in her body supported this claim. Toxicology analysis of her body revealed that she also used the following d*rugs: a*lprazolam (X*anax), D*iphenhydramine (B*enadryl), C*yclobenzaprine (F*lexeril) and c*annabis.
We are saddened by the toxicology results. Nonetheless, we are glad to have the closure,” her family said.
Items missing from her room and purse Surprisingly, missing items from her hotel room and wallet were listed in the coroner’s 42-page report.
The decedent’s California driver’s license had been removed from the wallet, which was inside the purse, before my arrival,” a part of the report said. “Also before my arrival, the majority of the decedent’s prescription medication bottles had been removed from a brown bag that was on top of the table in the southeast part of the living room, and then placed on top of that same table.”
Abrasions on her face The report mentioned something else s*uspicious. Whitney had wounds on her face when she was found in the bathtub. Specifically, the report indicated that there were two superficial abrasions on the left side of her forehead and her nose bridge. Cyril Wecht, the Forensic pathologist, explained the phenomenon further by revealing that the water in the tab was super hot at 93.5 F and that he didn’t think that Houston sat there willingly, but fell accidentally.
I think that she fell into this very hot water. That accounts for a little bruise that was seen in the left forehead area, some other pressure markings on the face, including the slight laceration on the lip, and the fact that she was lying face down,” Wecht explained.
Her assistant, Mary Jones, was the first person to find her. She emphasized that there was foul play.

She said that she discovered the superstar in the bathtub at around 3.30 pm after she had stepped out to pick a dress. When she returned, Houston was facing down in the hot tub.
Somebody was in the room with her, had given her these d*rugs, and had found her drowned in the bath, switched off the taps and left the room,” Mary said.
Nevertheless, Mary was never able to identify the person who she suspected was in the room.
Ex-husband didn’t believe she d*ied of d*rug a*buse
Bobby Brown, Houston’s ex-husband, who lived together with her from 1992 to 2007, said that he didn’t think that the d*rugs she used to take played a role in her d*eath. Speaking in an interview with CNN, he said,
I don’t think she d*ied from d*rugs, she was working hard on herself to try to be a sober person.
He added on and suggested that the cause of her d*eath could be because she was heartb*roken.
Reactions to Whitney Houston d*eath
After Houston d*ied, big Television Networks like CNN, MSNBC, and Fox News broke from their regular TV schedules to cover live events of her d*eath. Houston was expected to attend the Davis pre-Grammy Awards party but could not make it. The show was attended by prominent artists and actors and went on as planned. At the evening start, Davis spoke about his friend’s d*eath.
By now you have all heard of the shocking, t*ragic news of our friend Houston passing. I will not mask my emotions in front of a room full of so many dear friends. I am devastated by the loss of someone who meant so much to me over the years, he said.
Davis praised her beauty and outstanding character. He said that Whitney used to grace the stage with her regal presence that shall forever remain in the minds of her fans. Some celebrities felt that it was not fair to continue with the party while her body was still in the building. Speaking on a CNN interview on February 13, 2012, Piers Morgan said that the party should have been canceled. He said,
I thought that was complete madness. And knowing Whitney, I do not believe that she would have said ‘The show must go on.’ She is the kind of a woman that would have said ‘Stop everything! Aaaah Am not going to be there!
Houston ex-husband was seen in and out of crying fits many times since he received the news. He was scheduled to perform few hours after the d*eath of her ex-wife but did not cancel it. People in the concert observed him as he wept bitterly saying, “I love you, Whitney.” Her fans from all over the world took it to social media to express their bitterness and tribute.

On February 18, an invite-only memorial service took place at the New Hope Baptist Church in New Jersey. The church service was supposed to take two hours; however, it lasted for four hours. Numerous singers performed songs in the memorial. Among them were CeCe Winans, Alicia Keys, Steve Wonder, Kim Burrell, and R. Kelly. The church choir also performed. Her ex-husband, Bobby Brown, was among the guests. Unfortunately, he couldn’t hold his tears, and he left a few minutes after the memorial begun.
