Entrepreneur Themba Rumbu took to social media to share how he and his friends were able to make a difference in a student's life.
On Wednesday, Rumbu took to social media to share how a young woman came to him for help and because of it she was able to graduate.
Briefly.co.za gathered the desperate young woman messaged Rumbu directly last week to ask for help. She was reportedly set to accept her degree but her outstanding tuition fees were standing in her way. So she asked him for his help and Rumbu came through, with some help from his friends. Taking to social media, the entrepreneur shared the inspirational story along with photos of himself and the young woman on her special day.
"A week ago one of followers Dmed me mentioning she had a problem with paying her tuition, she asked for help from me and I mentioned all friends that are able to help and her tuition was paid so she can graduate. I’m not here for popularity. I’M HERE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE," Rumbu captioned the post. South Africans were inspired by the story and they applauded Rumbu for choosing to make a difference in the graduate's life.
TV host and social media influencer, Inno Matijane, praised the entrepreneur, writing:
