Pernilla Wohlfahrt, the company’s assortment manager for collaborations and special collections, said that Mokubung’s clothing range would inject a dose of fresh fun as well as some Mzansi magic to their global markets. Wohlfahrt said, "We love how she works with colour, print and silhouettes enhancing the female shape in a flattering and playful way."
Mantsho means ‘black is beautiful’ in SeSotho and the label was created in 2004. During that time, the designs have featured in runways across the world, including in the US, Greece, India and Nigeria. Mokubung couldn’t hide her excitement as she shared the news via social media. The young designer is looking forward to sharing her ready-to-wear clothing with the world.
