Mama bear Kandi Burruss is having the time of life with daughter Riley Burruss while doing all that is fun and wild in Tokyo, but some critics are still not happy.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram where she gave fans an update on their mom/daughter trip via a series of pictures where they are visiting the Asian country in street karts.
The Xscape singer explained: “If you go to #Tokyo you HAVE to do the #streetkarttokyobaybbq experience! @rileyburruss had soooo much fun! You ride around the entire city in go karts dressed like cartoon characters. YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS PERMIT TO DO THIS. It’s easy to get. Go online get the application & send in with two passport photos. I got mine only a week before my trip. You have to be 18 tho. Unfortunately, Riley couldn’t drive one, but she still had fun riding with our guide. Thanks, @notjustagetaway for setting up our trip activities! #mommydaughtertrip #kanditrip.”
Many are applauding the fact that Kandi and Riley are making memories, while a few are wondering why wasn’t Todd Tucker’s daughter, Kaela Tucker, on the fun-filled trip.
One said: “Mommy and daughter trip! That’s what’s up! I love that you’re doing this with your daughter. I travel with mine all the time, and people swear we’re crazy because it’s just us — can’t help that we love & like each other!!! Enjoy making new memories.”

This Instagram user defended Kandi by writing: “I’m sooooo happy to see I two spending quality time together ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Y’all worried about someone else child. She’s her STEP-mother, which mean the girl has her own mother, at that she’s alive and breathing. How do u know she didn’t have her own plans? Y’all act like she’s NEVER seen with Kandi. Half of all of you got steps kids all of you can’t stand or want nowhere around. Worry about what you got going on, smh!
