Fast and the Furious cast member Tyrese Gibson has once again hit out at his cast mates — this time, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Tyrese Gibson is angry all over again about Hobbs & Shaw.

The Fast and the Furious franchise spin-off, starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Jason Statham, launched worldwide with a $180 million debut, but Gibson wasn’t impressed. In a since-deleted Instagram post, 40-year-old Gibson called out The Rock and the movie’s earnings.

“I have to show my respects for one thing …. He tried……. Folks called me a hater …. Attacked me for speaking out…..Breaking up the family clearly doesn’t have the value that one would assume it does,” Gibson wrote alongside a news story with a headline that read, ‘Hobbs & Shaw Has Lowest Fast & FuriousBox Office Opening Since Tokyo Drift.’

“You know what maybe just maybe … The Rock and the crew will come dance with us again for #Fast10 we can all hug it out and get back to giving the true fans who have supported this franchise for 20 years WHAT they want……..No hating I’m just pointing out the facts,” Gibson, who played Roman Pearce in the longrunning franchise, continued. “#FastFamily has more value as the #FastFamily its [sic] OK.”

Gibson has been taking jabs at The Rock since the spin-off movie was announced in 2017 and ultimately pushed the release of Fast 9 to 2020. Fellow Fast star Vin Diesel defended The Rock in the seemingly one-sided feud, saying the pushed-back date was no one’s fault.

In Gibson’s latest post, he pointed out that The Rock isn’t “hurting for work” because he has “at least 15” franchises under his belt.

“ … there won’t be any tears on his pillow tonight,” he wrote. “180 million dollar global opening on Hobbs and Shaw is NOT a win … When you do get attacked well … That’s that … Again my respects cause he tried his best.”

The Rock hasn’t responded to Gibson’s thoughts.
