A new book titled Diana: Case Solved hits stores this week, and inside royal expert Richard Kay says that Prince Charles and Princess Diana “barely knew each other” and were “unhappy” and “ill-suited” when they married in 1981. Kay was reportedly a close confidant of Diana’s when she d*ied on August 31st, 1997.


Kay, who is a royal writer for The Daily Mail, was one of the last people to speak to the Princess before a fateful car crash took her life in a Paris tunnel. He shared some of his secrets about Charles and Diana’s relationship to the Diana: Case Solved authors, i*nvestigative journalist Dylan Howard and h*omicide detective Colin McLaren.

Kay says that Diana was extremely unhappy throughout her entire marriage and because she had “no real close friends,” she ended up turning to psychics and alternative healers.

According to Us Weekly, Howard and McLaren claim that their book shares details about secret diaries and recordings that the Princess of Wales made before she d*ied, and they also reveal all of the enemies she had in the palace.

The book also explains how Diana’s groundbreaking charity work for AIDS research and against landmines did not sit well with the British and American governments, MI6, the CIA, and international a*rms dealers.

The authors also share details about the white Fiat Uno which seemingly brushed the Mercedes Diana was riding in just moments before the crash that took her life. The book’s authors reveal the identity of the driver – a 22-year-old taxi driver named Le Van Thanh – and they also talk to former Scotland Yard chief John Stevens.


Stevens says he has tried to talk to Van Thanh twice, but he refused to speak about the a*ccident. The only time Van Thanh has talked to authorities was when he spoke to French police with a Scotland Yard officer present.

Van Thanh reportedly talked for six hours before he was set free, even though white paint from his Fiat Uno was on the wrecked Mercedes.

“Le Van Thanh is the one person who can unlock the conspiracy,” said Howard.

At the time of the c*rash, no one saw the Fiat in the tunnel with the Mercedes, but some witnesses claim to have seen the Fiat Uno leaving the tunnel. Georges and Sabine Dauzonne both said during the i*nvestigation that Van Hanh was behind the wheel. But, Mohamed al-Fayed – the father of Dodi Fayed, who d*ied along with Princess Diana in the c*rash – believes it was photographer James Andanson who was driving.
