Looks like Liam Hemsworth has also begun to "Slide Away" from his relationship with estranged wife Miley Cyrus.
About two months after the pair announced their split on Instagram, the actor, 29, was photographed holding hands with a woman while strolling through New York City Thursday. Us Weekly and TMZ identify Hemsworth's companion as Maddison Brown, a 22-year-old model/actress, who also hails from Australia and portrays Kirby Anders on the CW's "Dynasty."
The outlets reports the twosome ate at the Italian restaurant Sant Ambroeus. TMZ published images of the outing. USA TODAY has reached out to reps for Hemsworth and the "Dynasty" actress for comment.
Since their split, Cyrus, who exchanged vows with Hemsworth in December, has been romantically linked to "The Hills: New Beginnings" star Kaitlynn Carter and Australian musician Cody Simpson.
Last week the singer called out the double-standard of men dating versus women dating on Twitter.
"Men (especially successful ones) are RARELY slut-shamed," wrote Cyrus. "They move on from one beautiful young woman to the next MOST times without consequence. They are usually referred to as 'legends,' 'heartthrobs,' 'G,' 'Ladies Man' etc."
"Where women are called sluts," she added. "I am just trying to thrive in a man's world. If we can't beat 'em, join 'em!"
On Aug. 12, Hemsworth shared news of the dissolution of his short marriage to Instagram. He said he wished his ex "nothing but health and happiness going forward."
