On Wednesday, a photo was posted on social media and it had South Africans laughing out loud. The image showed the creative way a man gave himself the graduation experience.
With graduation season upon us, social media is filled with posts of students in their graduation attire finally accepting their degrees.
However, not everyone is lucky enough to attend university let alone graduate, so those people have to come up with creative ways to get the education experience. Briefly.co.za saw a social media post which had South Africans folding over in laughter. The photo showed a man in graduation attire which he made himself using a blanket and a cushion. The photo was posted on Twitter by Man's Not Barry Roux, who captioned it: "It's possible."
"A PhD in stupidity" social media user @michellemodika commented. Another tweep, @Macgyve47572165, added: "I'm inspired he is a qualified freak." Twitter user @Thabi_Ndima wrote: "Honours in housing" Kosama Moth, who goes by the Twitter handle @KosamaMothiba, said: "Go get it boy.. that's the spirit."
The post inspired another social media user, Ithi Ngizithulele, who shared his own image of a home-made graduation gown. "It was tough but I got my Doctorate in Lokshini management," he captioned the photo.
